His highly anticipated film “Sardaar Ji 3” made headlines when reports suggested that Hania Aamir would make her debut in the project. Following the Pahalgam attacks, several projects featuring Pakistani artists, such as Fawad Khan’s “Abir Gulaal,” were shelved. However, Diljit has taken a different path by moving forward with his cross-border collaboration.
The superstar released the trailer for “Sardaar Ji 3” and announced that he will launch the film featuring Hania Aamir in the overseas market. The film will release worldwide—except in India. The trailer quickly went viral, triggering a wave of threats against Diljit Dosanjh in India. The All Indian Cine Workers Association has threatened Diljit Dosanjh with a complete ban. They announced that if he releases his film featuring Hania Aamir on 27th June 2025, he will no longer receive work in Indian films, and his concerts will be prohibited in every city across India. They issued an official notification declaring these consequences.
