India Refuses to Play Semi-Final Against Pakistan in World Legends Championship
India has reportedly refused to play the semi-final against Pakistan in the World Championship of Legends.
This claim has been made by Indian media, stating that the Indian team clearly declined to take the field against their traditional rivals in the semi-final that was scheduled for Thursday.
Alongside the players, an Indian sponsor, EaseMyTrip, also announced its disassociation from the match. Some former Indian cricketers, including Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan, have backed this decision. Both had earlier publicly refused to play against Pakistan.
India’s performance in the tournament has been inconsistent. They lost their opening game against South Africa Champions by 88 runs through the DRS method and continued their losing streak against Australia and England.

The only point they earned was from the abandoned match against Pakistan. However, they secured a place in the semi-final after defeating West Indies in just 13.2 overs in their final group match.
So far, tournament organizers have not released any official statement. If India does not participate, Pakistan Champions may be granted a direct spot in the final.
