India actively supporting terrorism in region, says Pakistan

New York: During an open debate at the Security Council, Pakistani Ambassador Usman Jadoon once again exposed India’s true face to the world, stating that India is systematically supporting and aiding terrorism in Pakistan.

During the discussion, in response to remarks by the Indian representative, Pakistani Ambassador Usman Jadoon said that the Indian delegate misused this important forum to level baseless accusations and attempted to mislead the Security Council. He emphasized that, contrary to the Indian representative’s statements, the facts are clear and irrefutable.

Ambassador Usman Jadoon stated that India illegally occupies Jammu and Kashmir, violating the Security Council resolutions on the Kashmir dispute, and has deprived the Kashmiri people of their inalienable right to self-determination. He added that India itself brought the Kashmir issue to the Security Council but is now unwilling to implement the resolutions.

He further said that India sponsors organized terrorism in Pakistan, and reports from international human rights organizations document the worst treatment of minorities within India.

He also mentioned that India has attempted to unilaterally and illegally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, with the aim of depriving the Pakistani people of water from the Indus River. Such actions by India are serious violations of international law.

Ambassador Usman Jadoon stated that between May 7 and 10, India launched open aggression against Pakistan. Pakistan responded responsibly and effectively, destroying six Indian warplanes and inflicting significant military losses.

He concluded by saying that India needs to abandon its arrogant and reckless approach and face reality, urging India to exercise self-accountability and change its behavior.
