Former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim has confirmed that he has divorced his wife, Sania Ashfaq, according to reports.
The confirmation came after Imad shared a statement on Instagram, ending months of speculation about their relationship.
In his message, Imad said that the decision to divorce came after ongoing disagreements that could not be resolved over the past few years. He confirmed that he has officially filed for divorce, bringing clarity to the long-rumoured separation.
Speaking about their children, Imad said he remains their father and will continue to take full and responsible care of them. He added that Sania is no longer his life partner and warned that any attempts to defame him or drag others into the matter would be addressed through legal action if they do not stop.
He thanked people for their understanding and respect and requested privacy from fans and followers during this difficult time. Imad and Sania were married in August 2019 and have three children together, for whom he has taken responsibility.
Imad Wasim retired from international cricket in December 2024 and is currently playing in the Bangladesh Premier League. Separately, in September 2025, actress and writer Mira Sethi also confirmed her divorce from husband Bilal Siddiqui after separating in 2023, sharing details of her personal journey and how she managed during that period.
