Humayoun Ashraf, the handsome and versatile Pakistani television and film actor, has earned massive fame over the years with back-to-back hit dramas like “Khuda Aur Muhabbat”, “Rang Mahal”, “Mere Damad”, “Intiqam”, “Sultanat”, “Ehsan Faramosh”, “Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai”, “Ik Tamana La Hasil Si”, and “Mushkil”. Recently, fans and critics alike have praised his performances in “Naqaab” and “Ilzam e Ishq”.
The actor recently appeared on Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show, where he shared why he isn’t currently considering marriage.
Talking about it, Humayoun Ashraf said, “It is a beautiful relationship which deserves certain protocols. Why would I get married secretly? When I get married, it will be an open affair. Also, I am not getting married because I don’t feel like doing it“.
He further added, “I think standards are higher now, and people who remain single for a longer period often find it difficult to adjust after marriage. You also learn from other people’s experiences. These days, it’s hard to live with a partner who is not willing to compromise. For example, expectations from life partners can be quite high, and they may complain about your changed behavior, like saying, ‘You weren’t like this before.’ This happens because the person doesn’t change after marriage; rather, he was acting differently before marriage. For instance, he might compliment her by saying, ‘You look beautiful,’ before marriage, but stop doing so afterward, because he was using those compliments as a strategy to make her happy. The real problem is that we don’t think practically. No relationship can work without being practical. You can’t change a person.”
