
Amazon Prime Video has unleashed a blood-soaked trailer for the fifth and final season of “The Boys,” teasing Homelander’s terrifying control over the world and Billy Butcher’s world-altering comeback.
The farewell season kicks off on April 8 with the first two episodes, building up to the series finale on May 20, promising a dramatic and explosive conclusion.
In the final season, the world falls under Homelander’s chaotic and egomaniacal rule. Following Season 4’s shocking climax, the surviving members of The Boys are scattered and imprisoned Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are locked in a “Freedom Camp,” Annie fights against overwhelming Supe forces, and Kimiko is missing. Butcher returns with a deadly virus that could wipe out all Supes, setting events into motion that could reshape the world forever.
The trailer shows Homelander’s ruthless consolidation of power from the Oval Office, the team’s desperate struggle, and Butcher’s daring new plan, promising high-octane action, shocking twists, and intense drama.
The final season reunites the core cast: Karl Urban (Butcher), Jack Quaid (Hughie), Antony Starr (Homelander), Erin Moriarty (Annie/Starlight), alongside Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, with newcomers Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
