Hamas responds to US ceasefire bid with 3 Key demands

Hamas has sent its answer to the United States regarding a proposed ceasefire. The group gave its response to Steve Witkoff, the American envoy for the Middle East. Hamas has laid out three main demands.

First, Hamas wants a full and complete ceasefire, not just a two-month halt to fighting. They are asking for the war to end entirely.

Second, Hamas is demanding that Israeli forces leave all areas of Gaza and the West Bank. This means a full withdrawal of Israeli troops from these regions.

Third, the group is calling for humanitarian aid to be delivered without any problems or delays. They want to make sure help can get to people who need it without anything getting in the way.

As part of their offer, Hamas has said they are willing to release 10 Israeli hostages. In return, they expect Israel to also release Palestinian prisoners.

So far, Israel has not said anything about Hamas’s new demands. It’s important to remember that Israel has been asking Hamas to give up their weapons, but Palestine has said no to this.

Now, with Hamas putting forward these three demands in response to the US proposal, everyone is waiting to see how Israel will react.

Meanwhile, US President Trump has expressed hope that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas will be finalized soon. The coming days will show if a breakthrough can be made.
