Georgia May Foote shares emotional song amid divorce rumours with Kris Evans

Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote has seemingly offered a glimpse into her troubled marriage by sharing a song about a partner’s betrayal.
For the past six months, rumours have swirled that she has separated from her husband of two years, Kris Evans.
The soap star, who is currently rehearsing for a pantomime in Norwich, posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday featuring the Canadian hit Couldn’t Be by Jessie Reyez.
The track narrates the story of a woman left alone in a suburban home while her partner engaged in an affair-a storyline that appears to reflect Foote’s own situation.
The lyrics include the lines: ‘I heard that men, men never choose. The one that they really love is the one that they lose. She ends up being the one they daydream about.
‘In a suburban house with a woman he settled for. She was better for him, I guess. God bless, but it couldn’t be me, yeah. And she lets you cheat, long as you come home. From searching the streets for someone like the one you let go.’
The couple had been living together in a newly built home in Greater Manchester, but reports suggest that Kris has now moved out.
Last month, it was confirmed that Georgia and Kris are heading for divorce, just two years, after their intimate wedding ceremony.
In a clear sign of moving on, Georgia has removed her wedding ring and erased all traces of the musician-once described as her ‘best friend’ from her Instagram account, including glamorous photos from their wedding.
