Five more Mossad agents arrested in western Iran

TEHRAN: Iranian authorities have arrested five additional individuals suspected of being linked to Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, in western Iran.

According to Iranian media reports, the suspects are accused of conducting online activities aimed at tarnishing Iran’s national image and creating fear among the public.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the arrests were made as the individuals allegedly attempted to damage the reputation of the country’s sacred system and spread panic among citizens.

It is worth noting that several Mossad agents have previously been detained amid heightened tensions during the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.

Earleir, following a series of assassination threats from US President Donald Trump and Israeli leaders, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a stern response.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Ayatollah Khamenei declared that Iran would respond with full force against the “terrorist Zionist regime,” vowing ruthless action against its leadership.

This comes a day after President Trump, in a separate post on social media, demanded Iran’s complete surrender, stating that he had no interest in negotiations and was committed to the total dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program.

Trump threatened the Iranian Supreme Leader, saying that he knew where Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei is, he is an easy target, but we are not killing him yet.
