First look of Chery Tiggo 8 CSH PHEV in Pakistan ahead of launch
Car lovers in Pakistan have something new to look forward to, as pictures circulating online show that the Chery Tiggo 8 Ultimate CSH PHEV has arrived at a local Master Group facility. This suggests that the brand’s first plug-in hybrid SUV may soon be launched in Pakistan, likely alongside the much-awaited Tiggo 9 in November 2025.
The Tiggo 8 Ultimate CSH PHEV is not just impressive in looks but also in performance. Drivers say it can accelerate quickly from 40 km/h to nearly 80 km/h even in electric mode, offering a smooth and quiet ride.
The SUV features a stylish design with a diamond-pattern grille, sleek LED headlights, and vertical DRLs at the front, while the rear includes bold CHERY lettering, full-width LED tail lights, and dual exhausts that add a modern touch.
Inside, it gives the feel of a luxury SUV packed with smart technology. It has a large sunroof that can be opened or closed by hand or voice command, and the seats come with comfort and massage features. Voice control can also be used for windows, music, phone calls, and navigation. Other features like a heads-up display, tire pressure monitor, and smooth steering make driving safer and easier. The air conditioning works quickly, and the customizable ambient lighting adds a relaxing feel to the cabin.
Unlike the petrol Tiggo 8 Pro, this plug-in hybrid combines a 1.5L turbo engine with electric motors for better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. Users also appreciate its fast charging, as a CCS DC charger can power it up in just 15–20 minutes, making long trips more convenient.
Experts believe that the arrival of the Tiggo 8 Ultimate CSH PHEV and Tiggo 9 will bring major change to Pakistan’s SUV market this November. The launch marks an important step for Chery in entering the plug-in hybrid segment and opens the door to a new era of electric mobility in Pakistan.
