Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir meets participants of the National Workshop Balochistan

Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with the participants of National Workshop Balochistan, attended by parliamentarians from Balochistan, civil society representatives, media, youth and other schools of thought.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated the commitment of the Pak army for lasting peace, development, and prosperity in Balochistan. He assured the complete elimination of terrorism and called the sociology-economic uplift of Balochistan for national cohesion and integration.

The Army Chief said that Indian proxy terrorist attacks on Balochistan’s patriotism are a failed conspiracy. He strongly criticized India’s proxy activities, which he called “Fitna-al-Khawaraj” and “Fitna-al-Hindustan”.

Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir said that these proxies will face a similar fate and humiliation as faced in Ma’arka e Haq, Insha Allah.

Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that terrorists knew no bounds of religion, sect, or ethnicity, necessitating a unified national response, stressing the imperative of collective resolve in confronting this menace.

The COAS highlighted the pivotal role of development initiatives in Balochistan, advocating for enhanced inter-agency cooperation and a cohesive national approach to propel provincial progress and national advancement.

While reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, COAS underscored the nation’s preparedness to respond decisively to any external or internal threats, protecting national prestige and ensuring the wellbeing of its citizens.

The session concluded after a candid interactive discourse between the participants and the Chief of Army Staff.
