Field Marshal Asim Munir will meet President Donald Trump on Wednesday during his official visit to the United States, according to security sources.
According to the president’s daily public schedule, the lunch meeting between Trump and Field Marshal Asim Munir is scheduled to take place at 10pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST) later today in the White House Cabinet Room.
This development occurred during the Army Chief’s official visit to the United States, where he had met with members of the Pakistani diaspora in Washington DC, a day earlier.
According to sources, during the exclusive meeting between Field Marshal General Asim Munir and US President Donald Trump, discussions will focus on Pakistan-US bilateral relations, the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, and the broader regional situation.
The White House spokesperson further stated that US Vice President JD Vance and several senior officials from the Trump administration will also be in attendance.
