Ed Sheeran adds more dates to 2026 Australia and New Zealand tour

Ed Sheeran will be taking his Loop Tour to Australia and New Zealand in early 2026 — and due to high demand, he has now included extra performances in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland.

Tickets for all dates will be available for purchase on Tuesday, July 29, at different times, and Frontier Touring members can enjoy a 24-hour pre-sale starting on Monday, July 28.

The stadium tour begins on Jan. 16 at Auckland’s Go Media Stadium and will proceed throughout New Zealand before moving to Australia for performances in all major capital cities. The recently revealed concerts feature an additional date at Perth’s Optus Stadium, along with extra shows in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, resulting in a total of 15 dates across the two countries.

The Loop Tour will promote Sheeran’s upcoming studio album, Play, scheduled for release on Sept. 12 through Warner Music. Characterized as “a vibrant, exploratory pop album that embodies the joy, disorder, and essence of an artist reenergized by experiences and journeys,” the release features tracks “Azizam,” “Sapphire,” and “Old Phone.” The album represents Sheeran’s first significant release after Autumn Variations in 2023.

As one of the most successful touring performers in Australian history, Sheeran has sold over 2.5 million tickets throughout Australia and New Zealand thus far. His 2023 +–=÷× (Mathematics) Tour set records in several cities, notably achieving the largest single-day ticket sales ever in Sydney.

The updated schedule features Sheeran once more taking the stage at large stadiums, such as Sydney’s Accor Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, and Adelaide Oval. All performances are licensed for all ages, but children 14 and under need to be with a parent or legal guardian

The tour is presented by Frontier Touring and MG Live, with full ticketing information and VIP options available at frontiertouring.com/edsheeran.
