Earthquake jolts Islamabad and nearby areas

Tremors were felt in Islamabad and surrounding areas late at night at 12:10 AM, causing panic among residents.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.3 and was centered just 3 kilometers from the Islamabad Metropolitan Area.

The tremors spread fear in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Abbottabad, and nearby regions.

People rushed out of their homes in fear. Initial reports suggest there were no casualties or property damage.

The tremors were also felt in some bordering areas of India.
