Durefishan talks wedding with Bilal Abbas, says “When the Time Is Right”
Durefishan Saleem may be a relatively new face in the industry, but her powerful performances and smart script choices have quickly made her one of TV’s most sought-after stars. With back-to-back hits like Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Khaie, and the massively successful Ishq Murshid, she has solidified her place in the hearts of fans both at home and abroad.
Her chemistry with co-star Bilal Abbas Khan in Ishq Murshid sparked a wave of fan excitement, and soon after, the two were seen together in multiple ad campaigns. Naturally, this only fueled rumors that the on-screen couple may be turning their reel romance into a real one. Their absence from interviews post-drama added more fuel to the fire, and whispers of a secret wedding began to swirl.
Now, as Durefishan gears up for her return to TV with Sanwal Yaar Piya, she finally addressed the speculation in a chat with Something Haute. When asked about the wedding rumors, she calmly said she chose to respond by not responding at all.
“I knew the news wasn’t true, so I didn’t feel the need to clarify anything. I’ve always kept my personal life private—not secret, just private. If something big like a wedding happens, people will see the pictures,” she said with a smile.
