Dua Lipa lived out her childhood dream on stage with iconic rocker Billie Joe Armstrong.

Over the weekend, the Levitating hitmaker took over the Chase Center stage in San Francisco to perform on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12.

While on the first night she covered Janis Joplin’s Piece of My Heart, the next day the 30-year-old Albanian pop star surprised the audience by bringing Green Day frontman onstage.

The two superstars treated the crowd to the rendition of Wake Me Up When September Ends.

The following days, Lipa, who is engaged to Callum Turner, took to her Instagram grid to reflect on the “surreal” experience of performing with Billie.

“SAN FRANCISCO!!!!!!! [green heart emoji] I can’t believe my life sometimes,” the Break My Heart songstress captioned a carousel featuring highlights from her two shows. “Sharing the stage with @billiejoearmstrong and singing When September Ends felt like stepping straight into a dream I never thought would come true.”

“I kept flashing back to little me running around the house with my Walkman tucked into the back of my jeans, the American Idiot @greenday album blasting in my ears, feeling like the world was so much bigger than I could imagine,” she recounted.

“Still trying to find the words but I loved everything about last night,” the Houdini singer added before concluding, “Beyond surreal. Thank you!!! 2 more shows left of this leg Seattle you’re NEXT!!!!”

As Lipa savoured the full-circle moment with her childhood idol, she’s gearing up to rock the crowd at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on October 15 and 16.
