Deleted photos of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at Kris Jenner’s 70th spark debate

Meghan Markle was seen in “networking mode” at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday as deleted photos drew online debate
Meghan Markle was reportedly in “networking mode” during Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration, mingling with celebrities and industry figures alongside Prince Harry.
The couple attended the James Bond-themed event, hosted at Jeff Bezos’ Beverly Hills estate, which featured guests including Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber, and Beyoncé.
A source told Page Six that Meghan was “in full networking mode” and “schmoozed with a lot of power players,” describing her as composed and “cool.” The Duchess of Sussex wore a black long-sleeved top with a flowing maxi skirt, while Prince Harry arrived in a classic tuxedo.
Photos shared by Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner featuring Meghan and Harry were later deleted from Instagram. DeuxMoi sources suggested the removals might relate to Meghan’s decision not to wear a Remembrance poppy, while others claimed the Sussexes requested the deletions themselves.
Celebrity reporter Rob Shuter stated on his #ShuterScoop that the couple were “furious” over the unauthorised posts, adding that “nothing goes online without their sign-off.”
A separate source alleged that Kris Jenner “didn’t like being told what to do,” reportedly saying the couple could “have control—just not on her guest list.”
In the UK, royal insiders told Page Six that palace staff were “appalled” by the couple’s appearance, calling it “at odds” with Prince William’s approach to royal duty.
The event came shortly before confirmation of Meghan’s return to acting. The Duchess is set to appear in Close Personal Friends, directed by Jason Orley. A production insider told People that Meghan appeared “very relaxed” on set and was “sweet and down-to-earth.”
