DDG granted supervised visitation with Halo in Italy amid custody dispute with Halle Bailey

DDG has requested court approval to visit his son Halo in Italy amid an ongoing custody dispute with Halle Bailey. Bailey currently holds temporary sole custody of their 18-month-old child after accusing the rapper of domestic violence in her legal filings.

On June 24, DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) and his attorney appeared in a Los Angeles court, seeking visitation rights while Bailey films a movie in Rome. Bailey, under a temporary restraining order against DDG, initially objected to the visit being supervised by DDG’s mother, citing a history of enabling behaviour. The judge instead ruled that a professional monitor must oversee the visit, which was deemed “reasonable.”

The court also stated that DDG will not be permitted to share any photos or videos of Halo on social media during this period. Both parties’ legal teams are now working to locate a qualified professional monitor before a follow-up hearing scheduled for June 26.

Bailey previously argued that she could not leave Halo in DDG’s care due to his extended travel plans and the protective order in place. In her response to a motion filed by DDG to prevent her from leaving the country, Bailey stated, “I must be on set in Italy to film a movie… This is my source of income, on which Halo and I rely.”

She also claimed DDG had not provided regular support since Halo’s birth. Legal filings allege that Bailey was subjected to multiple incidents of abuse by DDG, some of which reportedly occurred in front of their son.
