D4vd’s former landlord hires private investigator in missing teen Celeste Rivas case

Police confirmed D4vd is not a suspect and the cause of the teen’s death has not yet been determined

The former landlord of musician D4vd has reportedly hired a private investigator to support inquiries into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose remains were discovered in the trunk of D4vd’s impounded Tesla several weeks ago.

The case continues to draw public attention as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.

According to TMZ, Mladen Trifunovic, who owns the Los Angeles property previously rented by D4vd, confirmed that he engaged a private investigator after receiving no updates from authorities. “Our private investigator’s work is still ongoing, and I don’t have any findings to share at this time,” Trifunovic said. “It’s still early in the process, and I want to respect both the LAPD’s investigation and the memory of the victim.”

In a statement, the Los Angeles Police Department reiterated that the investigation remains active. “This is an ongoing investigation. Once additional information is available to share with the public it will be released by Media Relations Division. If anyone has any information about this investigation, they are urged to contact Robbery-Homicide Division or LA Crime Stoppers.”

Earlier this month, police confirmed that D4vd is not a suspect at this time and that the cause of death has not yet been determined.

Authorities continue to examine all aspects of the case to uncover the truth and ensure justice for Celeste Rivas Hernandez and her family, while the connection, if any, between the artist and the victim remains uncertain.
