Charli XCX talks about her public image after Taylor Swift diss track

Charli XCX has recently revealed how her mean girl persona unfairly defined her public image.
The Brat singer responds to a question about her reputation in public for the latest issue of Vanity Fair.
“It’s fascinating to see how people ingest your personality and spit it back out what people cling on to, what people miss,” said the 33-year-old.
Charli stated, “I’m always interested in, like, what does the casual viewer think? And they probably think I’m a girl who parties and does drugs and is a little bit b*****.”
The singer, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, admits she is “quite direct and blunt”.
“I hate this phrase, but what you see is what you get with me,” she continued.
Charli told the outlet, “People think it’s all some kind of performance, but it’s not. I’m not sitting here talking to you being the way that I am onstage.”
The songstress shared the only part of her onstage persona that’s truly authentic is how messy it can be.
“I think there is a correlation in that there’s a messiness and a lack of perfection,” remarked the 360 crooner.
Charli further said, “It’s the combination of talking about those things whilst also embracing them and really struggling with them is what makes me whole.”
“And I think that it makes me honest. You can vouch for me, I hope,” added the singer.
Meanwhile, the comments come after Taylor Swift lately released her track, Actually Romantic, which fans believed is direct jab at Charli amid the ongoing feud rumours.
