Baku: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has stated that India’s move to block Pakistan’s water will be equivalent to war.
Speaking at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Azerbaijan, he emphasized that water is the lifeline of Pakistanis and that India’s actions pose a threat to regional peace.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that the Pakistan Army has responded to enemy provocations in a professional manner.
Additionally, Shahbaz Sharif condemned the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where famine, starvation, and Israeli attacks have put humanity at severe risk. He affirmed that Pakistan stands in support of oppressed people worldwide.
He also focused on the impacts of climate change, highlighting that Pakistan is among the ten countries most affected by it.
Despite challenges like extreme heat, floods, and melting glaciers, Pakistan has developed policies to address climate change.
