BLACKPINK reportedly making comeback with full-length album in December, YG responds

BLACKPINK is reportedly preparing to make their long-awaited comeback with a full-length album in December.

According to recent reports, the group has decided to push back their release from November to later in the year.

A report on October 16 claimed that the members are working on a full studio album set for mid-December, not a mini-album as previously rumoured. YG Entertainment responded by saying, “Nothing has been decided regarding the group’s comeback,” but confirmed that an official schedule will be shared soon.

If confirmed, this will mark BLACKPINK’s first full group release in over three years since their 2022 album BORN PINK. The members — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — have all been focusing on individual projects and are now reportedly finalising recordings for their group return.

Earlier this year, BLACKPINK released the single “JUMP”, which received a positive global response. Their new album is expected to continue their signature mix of powerful choreography, bold visuals and genre-blending production that has earned them international acclaim.

The group is currently on the DEADLINE World Tour and will resume performances in Kaohsiung in the coming days after a short break. Two additional concert dates have been added, extending the tour until January 26, 2026.

Fans have expressed excitement over the possible comeback, with many speculating that the new album could coincide with major year-end music events.
