It notes that ties between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) facilitate the implementation of biased laws, while national and state-level legislation imposes strict restrictions on religious freedom in the country.
The Commission’s report further states that since 2014, BJP has implemented communal policies in India, BJP is trying to make India a distinctly Hindu state, RSS’s main objective is also to make India a Hindu state, RSS volunteers for BJP and Modi is also among them.
