Ayesha Omar is stepping into an exciting new role as the host of Lazawaal Ishq (Eternal Love).

Ayesha Omar is stepping into an exciting new role as the host of Lazawaal Ishq (Eternal Love), a groundbreaking reality dating show tailored for Urdu-speaking audiences around the globe. This marks the first time a format like this—well-known internationally through hits like Love Island and The Bachelor—has been adapted for Pakistan.

Inspired by the popular Turkish series Aşk Adası, the show will premiere on YouTube, offering a digital-first experience to a global viewership. Shot entirely in Istanbul, the show promises a mix of luxury, emotion, and high-stakes romantic drama.

Ayesha Omar shared her excitement, “This is truly a first for Urdu-speaking viewers. I can’t reveal too much yet, but expect a lot of drama, bonding, and surprises. The participants are all Pakistani—you might recognize some faces from the teaser!”

In Lazawaal Ishq, eight contestants—four men and four women—will live together in a lavish Turkish villa, complete with a pool and sweeping views of the Bosphorus. Over the course of 100 episodes, cameras will follow their every move as they compete in challenges, form alliances, and—ideally—find love. At the end, one couple will be crowned the winner.

Ayesha added, “You’ll get to witness their journey from strangers to something more. It’s not just about love—there’s strategy, tension, and a serious prize for the final winning couple.”

The show’s promo, already creating buzz online, opens with Omar sailing across the Bosphorus before entering the grand villa. Her voiceover sets the scene:

“In the quest for true love, our participants will live under one roof. Every moment will be captured. Through games and challenges, they’ll uncover each other’s truths. And in the end, the strongest bond will win.”

The format has already proven successful in multiple languages, including the Persian Eshghe Abadi and Arabic Qesma w Naseeb. Now, with Lazawaal Ishq, Pakistani audiences get their turn.

With sleek production, breathtaking locations, and a fresh concept for local viewers, Lazawaal Ishq hopes to redefine romance on Urdu screens and become a must-watch cultural phenomenon.
