ATC reserves verdict on Dr Yasmin’s plea

LAHORE:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday reserved its verdict on a bail petition filed by PTI leader Dr Yasmin Rashid in a case pertaining to the burning of a police vehicle near Jinnah House during the May 9 violence.

ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings and reserved the verdict after completion of arguments from both sides. The court indicated that it would announce the decision on Wednesday.

During the hearing, Advocate Rana Mudassir Umar presented arguments on behalf of Dr Yasmin

Sarwar Road police had a case against Dr Yasmin and others on charges of setting a police vehicle on ablaze.
