Pakistan’s star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has been ruled out of the upcoming Diamond League event due to ongoing fitness concerns.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Ali Sher Bajwa in Cambridge, England, where Arshad’s rehabilitation continues under medical supervision.
Sources close to the athlete confirmed that Arshad had been advised by specialists to avoid competition until he regains full strength. “Right now, the focus is on recovery, not risk,” said a member of his support staff.
Arshad’s treatment is ongoing in the UK, where he underwent surgery on his leg earlier this year. Although he has resumed basic training, full recovery is still weeks away.
