Iran has once again launched a heavy missile strike on the Israeli city of Haifa. The sudden and intense attack took place on Friday evening, triggering air raid sirens throughout the city. Multiple Israeli citizens have been severely injured and rushed to hospitals for emergency treatment.
This marks the 17th missile attack by Iran on Israel since the recent escalation began.
Thick clouds of smoke were seen rising from various parts of Haifa as the city faced an unexpected wave of destruction. Videos circulating online show missiles raining down on Haifa’s high-rise buildings, many of which have now been reduced to rubble.
Emergency services are working around the clock to rescue those trapped under the debris.
Loud explosions were also reported in the Israeli cities of “Beersheba” and Jerusalem, raising fears that the conflict could be widening.
The renewed missile strike highlights the growing intensity of hostilities in the region, as tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate with no signs of de-escalation.
