Andy Cohen addresses ‘RHOP’ star Wendy Osefo’s shocking arrest

Andy Cohen is speaking out following the shocking arrests of Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo.
During the October 13 episode of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM, the 57-year-old Real Housewives executive producer addressed the news, admitting that he was heartbroken to learn the news and called Wendy a “great role model.”
“I want to say that like all of you, I found out about the charges against Wendy and Eddie Osefo on Friday morning and there’s not much that I can say,” he said. “I know nothing of the charges more than you guys do, than what I’ve read.”
Cohen didn’t hold back his emotions, expressing deep sympathy for the reality star and her family. “I’m sad about this. I’m really sad about this and Wendy is just, you know, I’m a Wendy fan and she has been a great Housewife and a great role model,” he said.
“She’s always led with education and her solid family values, and so I’m really thinking about her and her family and I’m certainly hoping that this is all some big nothing,” he added.
Wendy, 41, and Eddie, also 41, were indicted by a Maryland grand jury on October 9. The couple faces multiple charges, including insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and making a false statement to police.
They were booked in Westminster and later released after each posting a $50,000 bond
