AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App launched

Primary objective is to provide taxpayers with an integrated, secure, user-friendly system


MUZAFFARABAD:

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) has launched the “AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App” and the “BI Revenue Collection/IT Dashboard” to ensure direct, prompt and effective communication between taxpayers and the department.

AJK Minister for Inland Revenue and Finance Chaudhry Qasim Majeed formally inaugurated the modern digital systems aimed at enhancing revenue collection.

A demonstration of the AJK Tax Asaan Mobile App and the BI Revenue Collection/IT Dashboard was presented at the launch ceremony. Officials highlighted that following the successful implementation of the AJK Point of Sale (POS) Invoicing System, the integration of advanced digital modules will further enhance transparency and efficiency in revenue collection.

Speaking on the occasion Majeed said the primary objective of the new digital platforms is to provide taxpayers with an integrated, secure and user-friendly system.

He added that through the mobile application, taxpayers will be able to verify invoices issued under the POS Invoicing System, view their registration details, access return-related information, make online tax payments, track the status of cases or applications and manage various online modules and services of the AJ&K IRIS system directly from their mobile devices.
