Karachi: Residents across several areas of Karachi felt 4 magnitude earthquake tremors on Friday, people in many neighborhoods reported feeling the jolts.
Tremors felt in different areas of Karachi. People in nearby areas including Landhi, Khurramabad, Malir, and Korangi reported feeling the shaking, which caused concern among residents for a short time.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4 on the magnitude scale and had a depth of 10 kilometers. The institution stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was located about 100 kilometers south of Karachi.
No immediate reports of casualties or damage. It must be noted that the country’s most populous coastal metropolis has experienced multiple tremors in recent months.
