133 Afghan Taliban killed, 27 outposts destroyed, 9 seized

Amid escalating tensions along the Pakistan–Afghanistan frontier, the Pakistan Armed Forces have mounted a resolute and meticulously coordinated counteroffensive following unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban elements.

The operation, codenamed “Ghazb-ul-Haq,” reflects Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its territorial integrity and neutralizing cross-border threats.

Security sources have reported that, to date, 133 Taliban combatants have been neutralized, with over 200 sustained injuries, while 27 Taliban posts have been obliterated and 9 strategically seized by Pakistani forces.

These operations targeted high-value installations, including corps and brigade headquarters, ammunition depots, logistics hubs, and battalion command centers, resulting in a crippling blow to the Taliban’s operational capabilities. Over 80 tanks, artillery units, and armored personnel carriers were also systematically destroyed.

Air and ground operations were executed with surgical precision across key sectors including Angur Ada, Wali Khan, Bajaur, Tirah, Mohmand, Kurram, and Chitral, leveraging artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles, and coordinated strikes to dismantle Taliban strongholds.

Attempts by the insurgents to deploy quadcopters against Pakistani positions were effectively thwarted, with all aerial threats neutralized.

The Afghan Taliban, following their setbacks, resorted to indiscriminate targeting of civilian areas, leaving five individuals, including three women, injured in Bajaur.

Religious sites were not spared, with a mosque sustaining significant structural damage from Taliban shelling, underscoring the unrelenting and reckless nature of their aggression.

Federal Minister for Information, Awais Tarar, affirmed that the Pakistani military responded with strategic precision and professional efficacy, ensuring the border remains secure while delivering a decisive punitive response to the aggressors.

He emphasized that the Taliban’s losses have been substantial, and no Pakistani personnel or territory have been compromised.

Prime Minister’s spokesperson, Mashraf Zaidi, reiterated that reports of Pakistani casualties or retaliatory Afghan airstrikes are unsubstantiated misinformation, propagated with malicious intent. He asserted that Pakistan’s security apparatus remains fully poised to counter any form of aggression with overwhelming and calibrated force.

Through these concerted operations, Pakistan has effectively neutralized critical Taliban assets, captured strategic positions, and reinforced operational dominance along the frontier, delivering a resounding deterrent to any future provocations.
