DOHA: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Qatar on a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Prime Minister was received at the King Hamad International Airport in Doha by Qatar’s Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar, Muhammad Amir, and diplomatic staff.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Tariq Fatemi, are also accompanying the Prime Minister.
During his visit to Qatar, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to discuss enhancing cooperation in the areas of economic and energy partnership, and people-to-people exchanges.
The two sides will also discuss ways to further advance cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, infrastructure development, and manpower export.
The Prime Minister’s visit reflects the deep brotherly ties between the two countries and highlights their shared commitment to further strengthen multilateral cooperation.
