Jake Paul reveals emotional reaction to fiancée Jutta Leerdam’s speed skating Olympic win

Jake Paul was overcome with emotion after his fiancée, Jutta Leerdam, secured a landmark victory on the Olympic stage.
The American boxer and influencer was seen shedding tears as Leerdam claimed gold in the women’s 1000m speed skating final at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Paul, who has been engaged to the Dutch professional speed skater for almost a year, attended the event on February 9 to support her during the highly anticipated race. The final proved intense, with Leerdam delivering a winning performance that earned her first Olympic gold medal and marked a defining moment in her career.
Leerdam was supported from the stands by her family as well as Paul’s parents, who were seen cheering throughout the race. Following the victory, Paul shared a video capturing his emotional reaction as he watched his partner cross the finish line. The clip was accompanied by the caption, “MY BABY JUST SET THE WORLD RECORD.”
In another post, Paul uploaded a photograph of himself lifting Leerdam as she held her gold medal. He added a personal message that read, “we just witnessed one of the most important sporting moments ever. the doc will tell. words cant describe how proud of you i am.”
The achievement also drew reactions from within the Paul family. Logan Paul, a WWE wrestler and Jake Paul’s brother, shared his own response on Instagram, posting a video of his shocked expression with the caption, “CHAMPION.”. He also reposted his brother’s video of Leerdam’s race with the caption,”bruh my future sister in law just won Olympic gold”
