ISLAMABAD:
The federal government has approved the promotion of seven officers of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) to grade-18, issuing formal notifications through the Establishment Division on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
The promotions come alongside key inter-provincial postings, reflecting an administrative reshuffle across Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as the government moves to fill senior policing positions and streamline command structures. According to the notifications, Abdullah Imran has been promoted to grade-18 and transferred from Balochistan to the Punjab government.
