The National Assembly on Friday dismissed media reports claiming that its official YouTube channel had been shut down, clarifying that the platform remained active and that a brief disruption was caused by temporary technical issues rather than any deliberate suspension.
The clarification came after reports circulated in sections of the media alleging that the National Assembly’s YouTube channel had “disappeared,” with live proceedings, usually broadcast on the platform and on state television, not aired over the past few days. The claims surfaced as a joint sitting of Parliament was held in Islamabad on Friday.
