George and Amal Clooney, a power couple in Hollywood, are opposed to raising their kids under the spotlight of fame.
The reason is simple, the Academy Award-winning star said, less focus on them, giving them time to lead a calm life.
“I was worried about raising our kids in L.A., in the culture of Hollywood. I felt like they were never going to get a fair shake at life,” he previously told E! News.
So, the pair opted to move to a farm in France, a decision rooted in their belief in protecting their family’s privacy.
“France—they kind of don’t give a s*** about fame. I don’t want them to be walking around worried about paparazzi. I don’t want them being compared to somebody else’s famous kids.”
George also offered insights into their lives, which he described as a peaceful place, telling Esquire, “You know, we live on a farm in France. A good portion of my life growing up was on a farm, and as a kid, I hated the whole idea of it.”
“But now, for them, it’s like—they’re not on their iPads, you know? They have dinner with grown-ups and have to take their dishes in. They have a much better life.”
Meanwhile, a look into George and Amal’s married life: the pair dated for nearly one year before they tied the knot in 2014. The pair shares two kids.
