ISLAMABAD:
The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday summoned the returning officer, district returning officer, and district police officer over allegations of rigging in the NA-185 constituency.
A four-member bench of the polls supervisory body led by its Sindh member heard the petition filed by NA-185 candidate Sardar Dost Khosa.
The commission directed the returning officer to submit a detailed report on the case, while the hearing was adjourned until Jan 7.
The petitioner was represented by his counsel Latif Khosa. The commission has also summoned the winning candidate from NA-185 to appear in the case.
