Her death was confirmed on Monday, December 22, by FC Bihor Oradea, the club where she worked closely and became a familiar presence on the sidelines.
For FC Bihor Oradea, Malina was more than a photographer. During the 2023–2024 season, she stood behind the lens as the club achieved promotion to the Second League, freezing moments of triumph, relief, and belief into lasting images.

In its tribute, the club spoke of her professionalism, dedication, and eye for emotion, acknowledging her role in documenting one of the most important chapters in its recent history.
According to reports, Malina fell from the seventh floor of the apartment she was renting in Oradea, a tragedy that claimed her life.
Authorities have not officially confirmed the circumstances surrounding her death, and no final cause has been publicly established.
Those close to her say Malina had been quietly carrying heavy personal burdens. She was reportedly dealing with her father’s serious illness while also fighting her own battle with cancer struggles she largely kept away from public view, choosing instead to let her work speak for her.
