Timothée Chalamet appears atop Las Vegas Sphere to promote ‘Marty Supreme’ ahead of release

According to a press release, Chalamet is the first person to appear atop the Sphere
Timothée Chalamet has taken film promotion to an unprecedented location by appearing atop the Las Vegas Sphere to promote his upcoming film, Marty Supreme, which is released in cinemas on Christmas Day.
In a newly released promotional video, the 29-year-old actor is shown strapped to the exterior of the Sphere, addressing the camera as the scale of the landmark comes into view. “Marty Supreme is an American film that comes out on Christmas Day 2025,” Chalamet shouts as the camera pulls back. The video is set to the Chicago Bulls theme, with the actor audibly celebrating as the structure fills the frame.
According to a press release, Chalamet is the first person to appear atop the Sphere. For the stunt, the venue’s Exosphere was transformed into a giant ping-pong ball, reflecting a central visual motif from the film.
The activation was carried out in partnership with Cash App, whose card designs featuring five exclusive Marty Supreme-themed stamps were displayed on the exterior. These included a blimp, a ping-pong paddle and ball, as well as the film’s logo and tagline.
Directed by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme stars Chalamet as Marty Mauser, described in an A24 synopsis as “a young man with a dream no one respects” who aspires to become a champion ping-pong player. The cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.
Marty Supreme opens in cinemas on Thursday, 25 December.
