A major update for two Bridgerton favourites has been confirmed, with Lady Whistledown revealing that the famed family is set to grow once again.

The announcement was shared ahead of the highly anticipated fourth season of the Netflix series, sparking widespread discussion among fans.

In a message posted to social media and written in the familiar voice of Lady Whistledown, the fictional society columnist announced the arrival of a new family member. “The new Lord Featherington has arrived. Welcome to the world, Elliot Bridgerton!” the post read, confirming that Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Bridgerton have welcomed a baby boy.

The update reveals that the couple, portrayed by Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan, are now parents to Lord Elliot Featherington. The announcement included a first glimpse of the baby, prompting immediate reactions from fans who commented on the child’s resemblance to his on-screen mother.
