Dave Chappelle, who has previously appeared in several specials, has announced his new one is dropping on Netflix tonight.
Called The Unstoppable, the comedian made the announcement ahead of a highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua.
“I wanted to shout out my hometown, Washington, D.C., and thank everybody that came out in October to support me at that show,” he says. “I just want you to know that the show will be streaming on Netflix tonight after the fight. My new special drops, and I hope you love it. Thank you very much.”
This is not the first time Dave collaborated with Netflix for a special. His previous gigs at the streamer include The Age of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Equanimity, The Bird Revelation, Sticks & Stones, The Closer, and The Dreamer.
Not to mention, a recorded speech of the comedian, which he delivered at his alma mater, was also released on the streamer.
In the meantime, the fight between Jack and Paul, where the latter won by a knockout, drew in many celebrities. From Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria to director Benny Safdie, as well as comedians Bert Kreischer and Matt Rife, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, and singer Shaggy, among others.
