Ethan Hawke reveals his one habit that Gwyneth Paltrow calls a ‘sickness’

Ethan Hawke says Gwyneth Paltrow finds his Taco Bell habit to be a “sickness.”
Hawke made the admission on Wednesday as he reflected on his longtime friendship with Paltrow in a new Vanity Fair video while revisiting their first meeting nearly 30 years after starring together in Great Expectations (1998).
During the conversation, Paltrow asked him a question about his one obsession from decades ago. “Do you still eat Taco Bell?”
Hawke, 55, laughed in agreement. “My idea, when Gwyneth and I met, of a special night was, ‘I got a part in a Broadway play. We’re going to Taco Bell!’” he said.
He added that he marked the milestone the same way when he finished writing his first novel, The Hottest State, to which Paltrow, 53, then chimed in, “It’s a sickness.”
Hawke immediately embraced it. “I think it’s remarkable how we haven’t changed,” he said, adding that he’s “proud” of that consistency.
The pair, who reunited to discuss their latest projects, including Paltrow’s Marty Supreme and Hawke’s Blue Moon, also reflected on how, despite life’s twists and turns, they’ve stayed true to who they are.
