Congressional Democrats have released a new batch of 68 photographs related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
It comes only a few days after 19 new images, including photos of President Donald Trump, from the estate of the late convicted sex offender were released.
Two of the newly-released pictures feature Epstein sitting alongside Noam Chomsky on an aircraft.
According to the BBC, the 97-year-old professor and public intellectual has previously appeared in Epstein-related documents, including correspondence about academic or personal matters.
The BBC said that there is no suggestion that appearing in the photos implies any wrongdoing.
It said Chomsky previously told the Wall Street Journal that Epstein had helped him move money between his accounts, which did not involve “one penny from Epstein”.
Several of the new photos show handwritten messages on different parts of a person’s body.
The writing appears to be quotes from the book Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov – a copy of which can be seen in the background of one of the photographs.
Previously Trump was featured in three of the photos shared by House Oversight Committee Democrats, who said they are reviewing more than 95,000 images produced by the estate.
The Justice Department said in July that there was no evidence to justify investigating any third parties in the Epstein case, and that it had found no “client list” or people who might have been involved in sex trafficking, or any evidence that Epstein had blackmailed anyone.
