Arnold Schwarzenegger’s rare snap with granddaughters melts hearts
Arnold Schwarzenegger spent some cozy time during the November holiday with his grandkids.
In a recent post shared by Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt on Instagram, the 78-year-old actor was captured posing with his two granddaughters, Lyla Maria, 5, and Eloise Christina, 3, along with ex wife Maria Shriver, on Thanksgiving.
The two little girls can be seen in the picture standing in front of their big ginger house with an elf resting on a shelf, while Arnold was captured from behind in the shot.
“So much to be thankful for,” Katherine wrote in the caption.
It is pertinent to mention that Katherine shares her daughters, Eloise and Lyla, as well as her son, Ford, 12 months, with husband Chris Pratt.
In a previous chat with People, Arnold gushed over being a granddad while revealing that his grandkids call him “Opa.” Opa means grandfather in German.
“It’s just such a fun thing to do because it’s kind of like I [didn’t] know how good I would be [at being a grandfather] but I have the animals so it’s an easy thing,” he told the outlet at the time.
Katherine recently opened up about teaching her two older kids home chores, revealing that her style of parenting is a bit rigid which she thinks is due to her father.
“I guess [we’re] more traditional with the chores and also the implementation of the chores and the strictness of the chores,” Katherine admitted on the Cat and Nat Unfiltered podcast. “And this is like, probably a little bit of my father coming out, but my dad had no patience or excuses for not doing your chores.”
