The musician is furious over it. “This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda,” she fires off under the comment of the clip on X.
Sabrina is not the first singer whose music the White House used in its policy against illegal immigration. Her friend, Taylor Swift, also faced a similar situation.
A video released in November depicted the celebration of U.S. President Donald Trump, featuring the Grammy winner’s track The Fate of Ophelia.
Similarly, Kenny Loggins, whose track Danger Zone was used in a clip showing the head of the United States dropping poop on No Kings protestors while flying in a jet.
“This is an unauthorized use of my performance of ‘Danger Zone.’ Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video be removed immediately,” he said.
“I can’t imagine why anybody would want their music used or associated with something created with the sole purpose of dividing us. Too many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together,” the artist added.
