Dolly Parton shares key message amid health challenges

Dolly Parton recently faced health challenges, but that didn’t stop her from handing out warm messages to fans on Thanksgiving.
In a post on Instagram, she shares, “Well hey! It’s Dolly here, and I want to wish all of you and your family blessings this Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for all of you and for the memories that we’ve shared through the years.”
The clip further adds, “So Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and just know that I will always love you. Wishing you and your family blessings this Thanksgiving.”
The video message comes on after an earlier clip the Joelene hitmaker posted, assuring fans her health is better after she skipped the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Orlando, Fla.
“I sure wish I could be with you in person today, but you probably heard that I’ve been dealing with a few health challenges this fall and my doctors told me to take it easy for just a little while,” she said at the time.
“And I’m truly sorry I can’t be there. I sure wanted to take the chance to say thank you for this incredible honor,” the veteran singer added.
Earlier reports say that the health woes of Dolly are related to an infection caused by a stone in her kidney. But an insider previously told People the musician is doing better.
“Dolly is getting better every day. She is at home taking care of herself while many friends and family visit her.”
