Katy Perry confirms ‘dating someone’ amid Justin Trudeau romance rumours

Katy Perry appears to be lining up her holiday plans with Justin Trudeau.
A source told People magazine that the singer, 41, is already “making plans for the holidays” with the 53-year-old, noting that the two have grown increasingly close in recent months.
According to the insider, Perry is mainly looking forward to wrapping up her Lifetimes tour. “Without exaggeration, this year has been a whirlwind for her,” the source said, adding that she hasn’t had much space to think about life beyond the final shows.
During her break, the source noted that Perry will turn her attention to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, whom she shares with former fiancé Orlando Bloom. “She’s a single mom now and a lot of that is going to come into focus next year,” the person added.
Questions remain about Trudeau’s own holiday schedule, including whether he will spend time with ex-wife Sophie Grégoire and their three children.
Grégoire recently addressed the public attention surrounding his relationship with Perry, telling the “Arlene Is Alone” podcast, “We’re all human beings and stuff affects us,” calling it “normal” to feel that impact.
“How you react to stuff, is your decision. So I choose to try to listen to the music instead of the noise.”
Perry hinted at the romance herself last month during a Prague concert, telling a fan she’s “dating someone” while brushing off their staged proposal. The pair had already drawn attention after attending Paris’ Crazy Horse cabaret for Perry’s 41st birthday.
Sources have described Trudeau as enthusiastic about the relationship, saying, “He is crazy about her and thinks she is the perfect woman,” and noting “They both have a sparkle for each other.”
