Paul McCartney ready to share about his life after ‘The Beatles’ in new documentary
The Beatles famed Paul McCartney has finally teased an unexpected project that is closest to his heart.
Taking it to his Instagram, the 83-year-old released the official glimpse of his new documentary, Man on the Run.
Backed by Amazon Prime, the upcoming film will showcase the life of the legendary artist post-Beatles, when he created his own band called “Wings” with late wife, Linda.
The caption on the post shared by Amazon MGM studios read, “Paul McCartney, like you’ve never seen him before.”
“Paul MaCartney: Man on the Run, the new documentary featuring rare unreleased music and footage, premieres February 25 on @primevideo.”
Besides streaming on Prime Video, the much-awaited documentary will also be release in selected cinemas.
In the trailer, Paul can be heard saying, “The Beatles had broken up and I was thinking, ‘What do I do now?”
He asked himself, “How can I ever do anything that’s anywhere near as good as the Beatles?”
Meanwhile, the streaming giant also shared a little insight about the movie saying, “The film chronicles the arc of McCartney’s solo career as he faces down a myriad of challenges while creating new music to define a new decade.”
The news comes ahead of the release of McCartney’s new book “Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run”, which is set to come out on November 4.
