Private investigator outlines timeline of D4vd’s Tesla in ongoing case linked to Celeste Rivas

A private investigator has shared new details about the Tesla connected to singer D4vd as the investigation into the death of teenager Celeste Rivas continues.

The Los Angeles Police Department has yet to name any suspects or determine a cause of death, while speculation about the pair’s connection remains unconfirmed.

Authorities discovered Rivas’ body last month inside a Tesla registered to the WITHERED artist. The vehicle was later impounded at a tow yard, with the LA County Coroner’s Office suggesting the body may have been inside the car for weeks.

Speaking to ABC7 Eyewitness News, private investigator Steve Fischer said he was hired by the owner of the Hollywood Hills property where d4vd stayed before his tour, a residence rented by the artist’s manager at Interscope Records.

“[The owner] wants to understand exactly what may have happened and if his house played a role in any way,” Fischer explained. “[Authorities] are probably relying on toxicology to better understand what happened, which means it could be an accidental overdose with a really bad decision made afterwards.”

Fischer stated that his investigation established the last confirmed date Rivas was alive as January 2. He added that surveillance footage and digital records helped form a tentative timeline of the Tesla’s movements.

“That car, starting in May, was parked in a few different spots around the neighbourhood, and then finally, on July 29, left in its final spot on Bluebird Avenue,” he said. “This happens to be right before, or the same day, they are leaving on a tour bus for D4vd’s tour.”

As the investigation continues, d4vd has cancelled tour dates while facing growing public attention and ongoing legal scrutiny surrounding the case.
