Liam Payne’s girlfriend sparks outrage before singer’s first death anniversary

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has been receiving backlash over her latest TikTok video.
The 26-year-old was dating the late pop star when he died. The two went together to Argentina last year in October to attend Niall Horan’s concert.
Unfortunately, Payne passed away on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel. Kate was not with him at the time as she had flown back to the USA a few days prior to his demise.
It has almost been a year to this tragic incident and Liam’s girlfriend has come under fire for her latest move.
She posted a video on her TikTok account three days ago in which she tried to recreate the viral social media trend where one person tries to lift another only by using one arm.
The video features the social media influencer and her friend, who tried to lift Kate up but failed to maintain the balance resulting in both crashing on the floor.
Cassidy captioned the clip, “Okay, maybe I do need a man.”
This one-line statement is making the former One Direction singer’s fans mad as they think it was inappropriate of her to write something like this just a few days before Liam’s first death anniversary.
“Stop posting about him — it’s so messed up that one moment you’re sad about Liam and the next you’re saying you need a man”, wrote one furious fan.
Meanwhile, another commented, Doing and saying this five days before the one-year anniversary of his passing is wild.”
